| Job Title: Production Assistant - E! News-Los Angeles |
| Description |
· Assist news producers in gathering production elements for stories
· Cross-train and backup other production assistants and production coordinator
· Pulling, viewing and logging tape as needed
· Coordinate digitizing of tape for day of air stories
· Research and pull tape for future stories
· Create comp reels as necessary
· Assist with running tapes to studio
· Distribute scripts for daily show
· Other duties as assigned |
| Job Requirements |
· Previous experience in broadcast news environment preferred.
· Good people and problem-solving skills.
· Capable of handling deadline pressure.
· Excellent research skills; demonstrated creativity, responsibility and organizational abilities a must.
· Must be PC literate with proficiency in MS Word.
· Must exhibit diplomacy and cooperation; must be organized, responsible, accurate, able to work well under pressure and without constant supervision.
· Must be team-oriented.
· Hours must be flexible to accommodate breaking news, including nights and weekends. |
